Casa Caprese is perfectly situated to allow easy access to the major attractions of Tuscany and Umbria. Anghiari and Sansepolcro, the nearest big towns, are a fifteen and twenty minute drive respectively; the ancient city of Arezzo is just a 25 minute drive on from Sansepolcro and other easily accessible towns/cities include Florence, Siena, Perugia, Assisi andSan Marino, to name but a few.

The house is fairly secluded, but not isolated, with the village centre being only a fifteen minute walk away. Here you will find a general store, pharmacy, bars, pizzeria and restaurants.The village also boasts a fascinating museum, which includes the house where the painter was born (XIV cent.), The Clusini Palace (XIV cent.), The rooms of the ’Rocca’ fortress and the area outside, among the remains of the old castle built in the middle ages. You can also visit the nearby church where Michelangelo was baptised.

The nearest airports are Florence and Forli (Bologna) both 45 minutes to 1 hours drive away. Flights from Stansted to Forli are daily and are extremely reasonable via Ryanair.
